Off For A Break
Who would have thought that I could be fascinated by shopping in BCF, Camping shops & Super Auto Cheap?? Well, this has happened. I, who love to shop in markets for exotic Kaftans, and shoes...more shoes with bling, antique and second hand shops, could find multiple aisles of fascinating cooking equipment, insect repellants, folding kettles, annex matting and toilet disinfectant tablets, could be so interesting (and expensive!). As I wandered through the huge stores, following experienced campers and noting what they spoke about and selected, I lost Rick in Aisle 1!!!! He spent ages inspecting the different flooring for the annex before finally selecting one, then failed to find the tent pegs which were directly behind him! I knew exactly where everything in the shop was.
We now are sporting fabulous, large straw hats, mats, hoses, fold up baskets, chocks (to put under the wheels to prevent us careering away when parked), lanterns, a fold up clothes line.......and much more! As we are nearly set up to go, we shall depart for 2 weeks of utter luxury to have a well earned holiday, following a tumultuous and busy year. We set sail from Melbourne on Thursday 10th for 2 weeks on board the Golden Princess sailing around beautiful New Zealand. No doubt I will find our stateroom spacious after residing in our caravan recently, but I'm longing to be waited upon, fed, someone else to wash up and clean my room. Happy days, over and out until our return.
